COPA Awarded Zero Waste Certificate for Sustainable Future
Standing out with its eco-friendly and high-efficiency HVAC
solutions, COPA aims to create value in all its projects for a more
livable world. Adopting a zero-waste approach by prioritizing human
health and the protection of all resources, COPA’s production facility in
the Bursa Nilüfer Organized Industrial Zone has been awarded
the "Zero Waste Certificate" by the Ministry of Environment
and Urbanization. Companies entitled to receive the Zero Waste Certificate are
evaluated according to criteria such as the more efficient use of resources,
prevention of waste, reduction of the amount of waste, and the establishment of
a zero-waste management system.
Oktay Erdinç, General Manager of COPA Isı Sistemleri, stated
the following on the subject: “Sustainability is one of the main topics forming
our strategy as we take firm steps toward becoming a global brand. For a more
environmentally friendly and greener world, zero waste is among the most
important issues we have identified in all our processes. We have meticulously
carried out all the necessary work for zero-waste management and raised
awareness among our colleagues by organizing periodic training sessions within
the company. As a result of all this, we were entitled to receive the 'Zero
Waste Certificate.' As COPA, we will continue to work, produce, and touch
nature and people for a greener world.”
