Nature, Sports, and Entertainment Met in Dağyenice Under the Sponsorship of COPA
Under the main sponsorship of COPA Heating Systems, the 5th SPX Dağyenice Ultra Trail Run was held on May 24-25 in Bursa Dağyenice, one of Turkey's largest outdoor natural living centers.
Hundreds of athletes and nature lovers from all over the world gathered in the enchanting nature of Dağyenice in a true festival atmosphere. The ultra-marathon also hosted the historical 100K Mysia Ways Track, a first in Turkey, which starts at night and lasts until morning with the goal of being completed within 22 hours. Bringing together nature sports enthusiasts, the marathon witnessed unforgettable moments.
The 'SPX Dağyenice Ultra Trail Run', held for the 5th time on May 24 - 25, 2024, witnessed the breathtaking struggle of nearly 2,000 running enthusiasts. Organized under the main sponsorship of COPA, this event brought the enchanting atmosphere of Dağyenice together with athletes and nature lovers.
Blending sports, healthy living, love of nature, and entertainment in a festival-like atmosphere, this ultra-marathon offered all participants an unforgettable social experience. The event provided participants with the opportunity to enjoy various social activities beyond just running.
Filled with music, food and beverage stands, and various entertainments, this ultra-marathon offered a perfect combination of sports and fun. Participants had a physically and socially enriching experience in the unique nature of Dağyenice.
Besler Group achieved success in the marathon by winning the "Largest Corporate Team" award. With this prestigious award, the employees demonstrated their team spirit and unity. COPA, operating under the Besler Group, also played a significant role in this success by supporting the team's strength and solidarity.
100K Track Pushed the Limits
The SPX Dağyenice Ultra Trail Run offered a rich program that appealed not only to professional athletes but also to amateurs interested in running. Participants enjoyed nature by choosing the most suitable track for themselves among various difficulty levels such as 6K, 15K, 33K, 61K, and 100K. The 100K Mysia Ways Track, which is a first in Turkey and starts at night and continues until morning, became one of the most remarkable events of the SPX Dağyenice Ultra Trail Run. With this historical track aimed to be completed within 22 hours, participants not only experienced a physical challenge but also an unforgettable journey among the unique beauties of nature.
COPA hosted many activities at its stand this year as well. As in the previous year, face painting workshops were organized for children and adults. The "Cooling Point" at the stand attracted great interest from the runners. After the race, runners rested in this special area and relieved their fatigue by cooling off with COPA air conditioners.
This unique event offered participants the opportunity to socialize, have fun, and reinforce healthy living habits, in addition to doing sports in touch with nature. The increasing number of participants and interest every year showed that the SPX Dağyenice Ultra Trail Run has become an indispensable event for nature sports enthusiasts. At the end of the event, one of the participants won a Naya Line air conditioner, which offers high performance and energy efficiency, as a gift.
