New Eco-Friendly Wall-Hung Condensing Boiler from COPA for Central Heating
COPA has introduced a new product to the market designed for
heating and hot water needs in medium and large-scale residences and workplaces
through a central system. Developed with Premix condensation technology, the
new COPA Formax wall-hung boilers provide significant savings in central
heating. Environmentally friendly with NOX Class 6 emission values, COPA Formax
boilers can operate with both natural gas and LPG.
Available in five different capacities—65, 90, 100, 125, and
150 kW—Formax condensing boilers can be used as hermetic wall-mounted units and
can also meet high-capacity heating requirements through a cascade connection
system.
In Formax wall-mounted boilers featuring Premix condensation
technology and high performance, the thermal energy is utilized to its full
potential. While 8% of the energy produced is typically lost through flue gases
and 11% is used to keep water vaporized during combustion in conventional
systems, Formax boilers achieve savings by condensing the water vapor in the
waste gas and transferring the "latent heat of condensation" back to
the return water. By reducing flue, radiation, and cooling losses, the boiler's
efficiency is increased while emission values are lowered.
A distinctive feature of COPA Formax boilers compared to
other products on the market is the ability to connect up to 15 boilers in a
cascade without the need for an additional interface converter during the
connection process.
Providing 109% efficiency with Premix condensation
technology and a micro-flame metal fiber-coated steel burner, Formax boilers
are suitable for operation with natural gas or LPG. Key features of the Formax
boilers—which achieve high efficiency at every capacity with a frequency-controlled
fan and high-performance stainless steel condensation heat exchanger—include an
integrated flue damper, a 6-bar operating pressure advantage for use in
high-rise buildings, low waste gas emissions, and a microprocessor-controlled
digital LCD screen where all operating functions can be monitored.
Additionally, they offer an outdoor air compensation panel
when an outdoor sensor is connected, the capability to connect and control 15
boilers + 3 zones via the on-board control panel, and the ability to operate
with Open-Therm modulated or on-off room thermostats. Formax boilers can also
work integrated with building automation systems (0-10Vdc input) and can be
remotely monitored by connecting to operation and fault indicators.
