SPX Dağyenice Ultra Trail Run Held Under the Gold Sponsorship of COPA
Under the gold sponsorship of COPA Heating Systems, the 4th SPX Dağyenice Ultra Trail Run took place on May 20th in Bursa Dağyenice, one of Turkey's largest outdoor natural living centers.
Bringing together hundreds of athletes and nature lovers from all over the world in a festival atmosphere within the unique nature of Dağyenice, this ultra-marathon started at 21:00 on May 19th specifically for the 100th anniversary of the Republic and hosted the historical 22-hour 100K Mysia Ways Track. Oğuzhan Emre Singer won the first-place trophy by completing the historical track in 10 hours and 49 minutes.
The ‘SPX Dağyenice Ultra Trail Run’, held for the 4th time on Saturday, May 20, 2023, witnessed the struggle of nearly 2,000 running enthusiasts. The run, held under the gold sponsorship of COPA, brought the magical atmosphere of Bursa Dağyenice together with athletes and nature lovers.
Bringing together sports, healthy living, love of nature, and entertainment in a festival atmosphere, this ultra-marathon promised a social experience for all participants to enjoy. Aiming to offer both a physical and spiritual experience by gathering people who love sports and nature, participants pushed their limits and enjoyed natural beauties by running on professional and amateur tracks. Additionally, participants enjoyed fun moments with many activities at the COPA stand, ranging from face painting workshops to yoga, and from zumba to concerts.
Standing out with a program that appeals not only to professional athletes but also to everyone who loves running and has an interest in nature, the SPX Dağyenice Ultra Trail Run featured tracks at different levels such as 6K, 15K, 33K, 61K, and 100K.
Completed the historical 100K track in 10 hours and 49 minutes
The SPX Dağyenice Ultra Trail Run drew particular attention with the 100K Mysia Ways Track organized specifically for the 100th anniversary of the Republic. The start of this historical track began on May 19th at 21:00 from Gölyazı (Apollonia). Runners completed the track at the Dağyenice Pond on May 20th by passing through the villages of Akçalar, Fadıllı, Ayva Köyü, Unçukuru, Maksenpınar, Güngören, Üçpınar, Deliktaş Cave, İnegazi, Atlas, Çalı, Misi, Doğancı, and Kadriye, respectively. The winner of the race, Oğuzhan Emre Singer, set a record and won the first-place trophy by completing the track in 10 hours and 49 minutes.
